Editorial Guidelines & Review Methodology

At Heavenka, our primary goal is to provide enterprise decision-makers with accurate, uncompromised technology evaluation frameworks. This document outlines our research standards, sourcing protocols, and correction procedures.

1. How We Evaluate Software Products

Whenever an article claims products have been "Tested," "Compared," or "Reviewed," we disclose our exact evaluation framework in the article's methodology badge. Our standard multi-tier evaluation framework includes:

  • Vendor Specification Audits: Verification of technical claims against official product roadmaps, release notes, API documentation, and security certifications (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR compliance).
  • User Workflow Simulation: Hands-on testing in sandbox environments or live product demos examining core admin configuration, setup latency, and ease of routine employee tasks.
  • Empirical Research Synthesis: Integration of peer-reviewed human resources studies and workforce data from authoritative institutions including SHRM, Gallup, Brandon Hall Group, and academic computer science research.
  • Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Benchmarking: Uncovering real pricing schedules, mandatory onboarding packages, tier jump thresholds, and add-on costs.

2. Independence & Commercial Neutrality

Heavenka is monetized primarily through non-intrusive contextual display advertising (such as Google AdSense). Editorial content is produced completely independent of advertising operations.

Non-Negotiable Policy: We do not accept sponsored reviews, pay-for-placement ranking adjustments, or vendor embargoes that restrict objective criticism of software weaknesses.

3. Data Verification & Price Freshness

B2B software pricing and packaging tiers change frequently. To maintain accuracy:

  • Every review guide includes a visible Last Updated timestamp.
  • Our research desk conducts scheduled quarterly reviews of listed pricing tiers, feature lists, and vendor acquisitions.
  • Readers and vendors can flag outdated pricing by emailing corrections@heavenka.app with current documentation.

4. Corrections & Transparency Policy

If an error of fact or out-of-date product specification is identified, our editorial desk verifies the correction against official vendor releases and updates the article immediately, noting the update date clearly on the page.
